Homestyle Radish Chutney made with Raw Radish,  Coconut, Green Chilies, Tamarind & Jaggery. This is typically served as an accompaniment with Rice & Saaru

Radish Chutney

My mum makes a lot of vegetable based chutneys or Bajji as we call it in Kannada. These chutneys are typically eaten with Rice, not as a standalone dish but mostly served along with saaru. They are such a great way of adding vegetables to one's diet

This is my favorite way of eating Radish. A simple chutney made with raw radish. It does not involve any kind of cooking on the stove top, except for making the Tadka. So, this can be put together in about 10 mins flat

If you are not too fond of radish, you may not really like it .. But, it does taste great with plain steamed rice & its good for digestion too :)
